Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support physical and virtual Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2019, with progression to 2022).
  • Engineer, administer, and support Nutanix hosts and virtual infrastructure.
  • Manage and support Microsoft cloud environments, including M365 GCC High and Azure (FedRAMP High).
  • Administer Windows infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and identity services across multiple on-premises and cloud domains.
  • Design, develop, manage, troubleshoot, document, secure, and implement hardware, operating systems, and application services for Windows-based platforms.
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to design and refine data center architecture and strategic technology plans.
  • Manage and maintain NAS, SAN, and virtualized storage systems.
  • Provide technical support and administration for storage, backup, and enterprise monitoring solutions.
  • Maintain all systems and services across multiple domains, including isolated and non-isolated networks.
  • Work closely with management and stakeholders to define requirements, identify issues, and deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Serve as site lead and primary point of contact for assigned responsibilities, including emergency response and escalations.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, virtual infrastructure, and storage technologies.
  • Experience supporting M365 GCC High environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure FedRAMP High environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019 and 2022.
  • Knowledge of storage technologies, backup solutions, and tape hardware architecture.
  • Experience developing documentation, user guidance, and technical procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and support remote operations.
  • Experience working within a ticketing system such as Jira Service Management.
  • Experience with STIG implementation and a strong security-focused mindset.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • PowerShell scripting proficiency.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Ability to travel between Clarksburg and Abingdon locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to comply with company policies, guidelines, and core values.Preferred Qualifications (not required)
  • Experience with project management.
