Service Engineer / Service Advisor
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Salary: Up to ₹3 LPA + Performance Incentives
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Service Engineer / Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and prior experience in handling customer service operations within the automobile industry.
Candidates with experience in authorized dealerships or premium automotive brands will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop team
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate vehicle servicing activities
- Assist in vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair coordination
- Maintain accurate service records, quotations, and documentation
- Ensure timely delivery of vehicles while maintaining service quality standards
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth workshop operations
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and handle service-related queries professionally
- Conduct vehicle inspections and assist with test drive coordination when required
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Service Advisor or Service Engineer role
- Experience in automobile dealerships or automotive service centers preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and workshop processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with prior experience in premium automobile brands such as BMW, Audi, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, or equivalent brands will have an added advantage.
