Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Systems Analyst with hands-on experience supporting Workday and PDI (Professional Data Solutions, Inc.) applications. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure the reliable performance of enterprise systems. You will work closely with end users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to maintain seamless operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for enterprise applications by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure accurate application configuration and integration.
- Perform application installations, upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Monitor application performance, proactively identify system issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize functionality.
- Investigate and resolve application-related incidents and errors while minimizing business impact.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of known issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Partner with development teams and vendors to report, escalate, and track software defects through resolution.
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of application enhancements, updates, and new releases.
- Conduct end-user training and provide guidance to promote effective adoption and utilization of applications.
- Continuously assess and improve support processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Workday Pro) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Application Support Analyst or in a similar role; experience with Workday and PDI is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in application troubleshooting, databases, and operating systems.
- Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and problem management methodologies.
- Familiarity with application deployment and release management processes, particularly within Workday and PDI environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation.
