Experienced Aerial Lineman Opportunity

Join Telecon as an Aerial Lineman based in Saint John, NB. This role requires expertise in telecommunication cable installations and involves travel within the Maritime Provinces.

Reporting to the Foreman, you will assist in installing various telecommunication apparatuses, operating specialized line trucks and vehicles. The position demands physical strength for climbing and working outdoors, emphasizing a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Effective communication is essential for managing project updates and addressing any challenges timely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate line vehicles for telecommunication installations
• Interpret job specifications and plans accurately
• Climb equipment to install cables securely
• Pull cables between structures and ensure proper tension
• Maintain a clean workspace and tools

Requirements

• Completed high school or equivalent experience
• Class 5 or Class 3 driver’s license with air brakes
• Minimum 1 year of lineman experience
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Valid criminal check and driver’s abstract
