Required Qualification and Experience

• BE/B-Tech/Diploma/Graduate
• Hands-on experience on Linux Operating System

Application Operations

• Perform application installation and configuration as per standard procedures
• Monitor applications and analyze application logs to identify and resolve errors
• Troubleshoot application issues related to performance, availability, and failures
• Coordinate with development and other support teams for issue resolution

Linux System Administration (Operations Only)

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux commands (RHEL/SUSE/Ubuntu)
• User and group management
• File system management (mounting, permissions, ownership)
• Disk management and monitoring (disk usage, free space, inode usage)
• Process monitoring and control using commands like top, ps, kill, etc.
• Log monitoring and analysis
• Note: No patching, installation, or uninstallation activities required

Automation & Scripting

• Automate repetitive operational tasks
• Hands-on execution of Ansible automation (no YAML development required, execution and usage expected)
• Bash scripting for operational automation and troubleshooting

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Proactively monitor disk space, file systems, and system processes
• Identify and resolve system errors and performance bottlenecks
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues

ITIL & Support Processes

• Work in an ITIL-based support environment
• Handle Incidents and Problems effectively
• Participate in RCA and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure SLA adherence and proper ticket documentation

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and customers
• Provide timely updates on incidents, outages, and resolutions
• Participate in bridge calls and operational discussions
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
