Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Deskside Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support across a variety of hardware, software, and peripheral devices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and delivers excellent customer service — especially in clinical or hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve software-related break/fix incidents
- Perform IMACs (Install, Move, Add, Change) including software installations and machine upgrades
- Support device refresh cycles
- Provide support for a wide range of peripherals, including:
- Document scanners
- ID card scanners
- Barcode scanners
- Credit card readers
- Label printers
- Signature pads
- Dragon dictation microphones
- RFID readers
- Assist users at staffed tech walk-up bars
- Work tickets through ServiceNow (ticketing system)
- Provide remote support using LogMeIn
Required Skills & Experience
- Basic experience with Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience providing deskside support
- Experience with ServiceNow is preferred but not required
- Experience with LogMeIn remote support tools
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
