Job Description
As a Production Engineer at TechnipFMC, your role involves managing the Assembly and Test scope within the Manufacturing Engineering function. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Reviewing drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure safe and efficient production following DFx methodology and Safe System of Work standards.
- Assisting in creating production documentation such as assembly & test procedures, work instructions, and routings under supervision.
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure successful production outcomes and improve the performance standard.
- Developing and maintaining standard routings per module and product families to control costs effectively.
- Creating specifications for shop tools and updating user documents based on findings to reflect improvements.
- Supporting daily production needs by resolving flow disruptions and participating in Problem Solving events.
Key relationships for you will include interactions with Subsea/surface senior engineers, designers, manufacturing, operations, project management teams internally, and suppliers, contractors, and customers externally.
Your qualifications should include a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the Oil and Gas manufacturing industry with a focus on Assembly and Test. Strong knowledge in engineering principles, familiarity with manufacturing processes, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects are essential. Additionally, you should have good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
It is important for you to continually seek improvement through process automation, standardization, and digitalization while managing concurrent tasks across multiple projects and engaging with design teams early for product manufacturability.
