Job Title: Grant Writer

Location: Remote

Salary: $50,000 plus incentives; first three months compensation as 1099

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience as a Grant Writer

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma

Overall Description: Assist the business development/grant writing team write proposals to obtain Grants that effectively convey RaEDA’s mission statement.

Detailed Experience:

• A minimum three (3) years of demonstrated office and general administrative experience
• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint) to manage correspondence, reports, calendars, and other administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of and experience setting up a variety of virtual meeting/webinar platforms is highly desired.
• A consistent demonstration of professionalism, fairness, cooperation, and respect towards coworkers and customers
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated oral and writing skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to independently perform the duties and skills outlined, with minimum supervision and guidance.

Duties

• Develop relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Display adherence to the organization’s mission.
• Maintain proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs.
• Assist with the execution of the development department's strategy.
• Identify grant funding opportunities.
• Write, submit, and manage grant proposals.
• Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents.
• Collaborate with Board of Advisors to send funders newsletters, and to promote on-site tours.
• Collaborate with Board of Advisors to compile an annual report.
• Maintain records in hard copies and computer databases.
• Some travel may be required.
