Job Description
Join TechBlocks as a Senior Data Scientist focused on optimization and machine learning. Help enhance large-scale decision systems within supply chain operations, driving robust performance enhancements. This hands-on role under the Data Science Lead requires strong expertise in optimization and applied machine learning.
The successful candidate will develop and refine analytical models, translating business needs into actionable data science solutions. You will be expected to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring systems align with operational demands. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop optimization models using MILP and heuristic approaches
- Apply machine learning for predictive modeling and feature engineering
- Translate business requirements into structured analytical problems
- Diagnose model issues with performance and data integrity
- Maintain data workflows using Python and SQL Requirements:
- 8–15+ years in data science or operations research
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and optimization solvers
- Experience with Azure and Databricks environments
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings
- Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders Deliver scalable model components that enhance operational efficiency and bridge the gap between analytics and business needs.
