Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure Sales for end-customers or B2C segment, you will be responsible for directly engaging with clients to promote and sell IT infrastructure products like laptops, desktops, servers, and related solutions. Your primary focus will be on managing key customer relationships, driving repeat business, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage direct relationships with end customers including SMEs, corporates, and institutions
- Identify customer requirements and suggest suitable IT infrastructure solutions
- Drive new customer acquisitions and foster repeat business
- Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure
Revenue & Target Achievement:
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets set for you
- Create sales forecasts and maintain pipeline reports
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers
- Ensure timely closure of deals and collections
Product & Solution Selling:
- Offer a range of IT products such as laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, accessories, warranty, and AMC services
- Explain product features, benefits, and configurations to customers
- Collaborate with technical teams for demos and solution validation
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers and users
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
- Address customer concerns and coordinate post-sales support
- Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and service teams for seamless order execution
- Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for pricing and availability
- Ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, and timely follow-ups
Qualification Required:
- 2-6 years of experience in IT hardware/infrastructure - Solutions Sales
- Strong background in direct/B2C IT sales
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT hardware and infrastructure products
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to simplify technical information for customers
- Customer-centric and result-oriented mindset
Preferred Background:
- Experience in IT Hardware Retail / Direct Enterprise Sales
- Exposure to OEM Direct Sales Teams
- Familiarity with System Integrators selling directly to customers
