Level 1 (L1) IT Support Engineer. Bengaluru & Gurgaon
Position Overview
Entry-level L1 IT Support role as first-point-of-contact for end-users. Focus on troubleshooting Mac laptops (macOS), basic networking issues, and general hardware/software problems. Great opportunity for beginners in IT.
Key Responsibilities
Handle support tickets via phone, email, or chat.
Troubleshoot and resolve common issues (password resets, software installs, printers, etc.).
Support Mac laptops:
setup, updates, Wi-Fi, permissions, and basic diagnostics.
Basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, DHCP/DNS).
Escalate complex issues with clear notes.
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and device setup.
Document all tickets accurately.
Required Skills
Basic macOS proficiency on Mac laptops (navigation, troubleshooting, updates).
Foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN basics).
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and patience with non-technical users.
High school diploma; IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Apple ACSP) a plus.
2-3 years' experience (internships or personal projects welcome).
Compensation
Final compensation will depend on experience, current CTC and performance in the interview process
