Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunications Administrator to manage and optimize our organization's communication infrastructure. This role is critical for ensuring seamless connectivity across our global operations.
Core Responsibilities
- System Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of VoIP systems, PBX, and mobile communication platforms.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Coordinate the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of telecommunications hardware and software.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for service providers to manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and technical support escalations.
- User Support: Provide high-level technical assistance to employees regarding connectivity issues, hardware provisioning, and system access.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all communication systems comply with regional labor and data security regulations.
- Network Integration: Collaborate with Network Engineers to ensure telecommunications traffic is optimized within the broader corporate network.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with telecommunications protocols, SIP trunking, and cloud-based communication suites.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to latency, jitter, and hardware failure.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and maintain professional correspondence with global vendors.
- Analytical Ability: Experience in auditing telecommunications billing and usage reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in high-volume technical recruitment environments or utility sectors.
- Familiarity with international labor compliance and security vetting processes.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA (Collaboration) or specialized VoIP platform certifications.
