Job Description
Provide specialized end to end BI support, visualization / presentation, and solutions for a significant business/function and/or projects/initiative. May be considered a subject matter expert in BI and Reporting. Accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing evolution of a best-in-class reporting and/or BI capability and may deliver on ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner closely with internal technology teams to define reporting input requirements, validate upstream data feeds, and resolve data quality, integration, and transformation issues end-to-end.
- Produce and publish enterprise-level Key Indicators (KIs) in accordance with approved enterprise methodologies, definitions, and governance standards.
- Execute a monthly reporting and operations cycle, following strict, documented protocols to prepare, validate, approve, and publish metrics with full traceability and control.
- Apply a high attention to detail and quality discipline, recognizing that inaccuracies can result in enterprise-level risk, regulatory exposure, and rework.
- Own and manage data issues and exceptions, including root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, and clear documentation suitable for audit and second-line review.
- Support and respond to second-line challenge activities (e.g., Data Risk Management), ensuring responses are accurate, evidence-based, and defensible.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver both formal enterprise reporting and more frequent, operational insights for execution teams and leadership.
- Perform data transformation and preparation using Python, ensuring data is reliable, traceable, and fit for enterprise reporting.
- Contribute to the build-out of Enterprise Data Management Office's (EDMO) target-state reporting architecture in the TD Data Cloud, including working with Databricks as part of the future-state platform.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for Business Segments and Corporate Functions, responding to reporting and data questions via email, the Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) Hub, and monthly segment forums.

- Monthly enterprise metrics are published on time, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Reporting processes consistently follow approved protocols with no control gaps.
- Operational dashboards provide timely visibility into risks, issues, and remediation progress.
- Second-line challenges are resolved efficiently with minimal follow-up.
- Stakeholders trust EDMO reporting for decision-making and regulatory confidence.
Core Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science) Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or past relavant experience
- Experience in business intelligence, enterprise reporting, or data analytics within a large, regulated organization.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to operate in environments with zero tolerance for reporting errors.
- Working knowledge of data risk, controls, or governance concepts (strong asset).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for enterprise and operational reporting.
- Experience using Python and SQL for data transformation and preparation.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms, including Databricks, is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data issues in clear, plain English.
