Electrician - Compressor Stations Role

Become an Electrician with TC Energy, focusing on compressor stations in Geraldton, Ontario. Leverage your technical skills to maintain and ensure the reliability of vital gas systems.

As an integral member of the Canada Gas Operations team, you'll undertake the installation, testing, and maintenance of gas compressor units and associated equipment. You’ll engage with various systems including HVAC, control systems, and shutdown devices. Your role will involve leading project activities while adhering to TC Energy safety standards and mentoring fellow staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain gas compressor units and turbine packages
• Test and troubleshoot shutdown and fire protection systems
• Install and configure control systems software
• Oversee contractor work activities during projects
• Train and mentor junior staff on technical skills

Requirements

• At least two years in Electrical Instrumentation and Control
• Must be bilingual in English and French
• Completion of third-year trades program required
• Proven mechanical and planning skills
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
