Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing OEMs for the Wind (Onshore, Offshore) and BESS sectors.

This is a pre-sales Project Proposal Manager position focused specifically on the North American onshore wind market; as this organization enters the market they need someone familiar with local conditions, supply chain, and with experience in logistics and installation.

Remote anywhere in Canada.

Project Proposal Manager

Core Responsibilities - Proposal Coordination

  • Technical Proposal Support: Provide installation and logistics technical content to commercial proposal team for integration into comprehensive project bids
  • Customer Technical Interface: Support sales team in technical discussions with customers regarding installation methodology, crane requirements, and project feasibility during pre-bid and negotiation phases
  • Internal Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with the company's regional sales, commercial team, product tech team, site delivery team and China HQ to align installation strategies with technical and commercial objectives
  • Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Identify technical risks and opportunities related to installation scope, providing input to commercial risk register and bid decision process

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Crane & Installation Solutions, Transportation & Route Engineering, Technical Proposal Development.
  • Manage the technical interface with suppliers and the procurement process.
  • Leverages ongoing market monitoring, competitive analysis, and lessons learned to continuously refine technical strategies and proposals, ensuring cost-competitiveness and increasing project win rates

Job Requirement

  • 7-15 years of progressive experience in wind turbine installation & logistics pre-sales / solution proposal
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience across wind turbine projects including component transport, site logistics, cranage operations, and erection methodology
  • Proven experience managing local projects (mandatory)

Proficiency in lifting engineering (capacity charts, load radius, rigging) is a strong plus

  • Knowledge of oversized transport regulations and route surveying is a strong plus
  • Business-level fluency in English
  • Must hold citizenship of the respective country
