Keep Production Powered at Tata Consumer Products

Join our Landover, MD manufacturing team as an on-site, hourly electrician (pay range: $32.50–$34.50 per hour). Each shift, you’ll be the go-to expert making sure our production lines run safely and smoothly.

A day on the floor

You’ll start by reviewing work orders, then move quickly to diagnose and resolve issues on production equipment—troubleshooting, inspecting, testing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems to keep output on track. You will also install and connect new systems such as wiring, conduit, fuses, circuit breakers, clock circuits, magnetic starters, and control systems. Throughout the shift, you’ll uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain excellent housekeeping per SOPs. This is a heavy-machinery, industrial setting, so prior experience in similar environments is important.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma/GED; completion of a technical/trade school or an apprenticeship program.
• Knowledge and skill equivalent to 2+ years in a manufacturing environment working with a range of power voltages.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on production systems, facility infrastructure, and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in reading blueprints and technical instructions; familiarity with parts identification and procurement processes.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Effective communication skills and a strong track record as both a collaborative teammate and a reliable individual contributor on high-performance teams.
• Computer literacy.

Physical and environmental expectations

• Comfort navigating a large production floor with varying temperatures and some airborne dust.
• Regular standing and walking for extended periods; frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and crouching to access equipment.
• Ability to push, lift, and pull raw materials (e.g., film, tin tie rolls, valves) up to 60 lbs.
