Windows Servers Administrator

Must-Have

1. Windows Server 2k8 / 2k12 / 2k16 / 2k19 / 2k22 related technologies.

2. Management of security hardening principles as per the guidelines.

3. Understanding of the windows clusters.

4. Excellent understanding of virtualization, networking, storage.

5. Apply and manage the GPOs.

6. Manage and support server roles like DNS, DHCP etc.

Good-to-Have

• PowerShell scripting knowledge.
• Understanding Azure / cloud infrastructure.
• Handson experience in virtualization technologies like Nutanix, VMWare.
• Management and support for the physical server hardware.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Responsible for managing the servers with highest uptime.

Member of BAU support team, supporting 24/7 in the client environment.

Vendor coordination for hardware issues for physical servers.

Participate in the change discussions, implementation etc and resolve the incidents, service requests within the SLAs.
