Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, high‑performance UI components using Angular 15+, HTML, and CSS.
• Build and maintain reusable, modular frontend components following best practices and coding standards.
• Implement data‑driven visualizations and dashboards using D3.js and graphing libraries.
• Integrate frontend components with REST APIs and backend services, ensuring smooth data flow and error handling.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive design across devices.
• Optimize UI performance, load times, and render efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code; participate in code reviews and quality checks.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
• Support CI/CD and deployment readiness by working with containerized/microservices ecosystems (e.g., Docker/OpenShift patterns used in similar Citi programs).
• Participate in production support and engineering excellence—analyzing alerts, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing fixes to maintain stability.
• Work experience on the transactional applications for low latency, high availability uses is a plus
• Work experience on the distributed caching solutions is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/stacks
• Adherence to clean coding principles, design patterns, and best practices to produce maintainable, readable, and efficient code

Engineering Excellence & Best Practices

• Drive the adoption of modern engineering ways of working, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Advocate for automated testing, infrastructure as code, and continuous monitoring to enhance software reliability.
• Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in readability, performance, and security.
• Implement and enforce secure coding practices, performing vulnerability assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate effectively in agile environments, embracing DevOps principles and fostering a culture of continuous delivery and improvement

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to design scalable and distributed systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to optimize deployments, observability, and production resilience.
• Lead technical discussions, contribute to design documentation, and provide guidance on modern software architecture.

Domain:

• Knowledge of various Fixed Income products and industry mandated regulatory reporting is a plus
