Overview

The Junior Site Supervisor assists the Project Manager in coordinating daily construction activities. This role is ideal for an individual looking to develop a career in construction management while gaining hands-on experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or residential projects. The successful candidate will help ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow
• Monitor progress and report on project milestones, delays, or issues to senior management
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to support accurate execution of tasks
• Utilize construction management software
• Assist in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site
• Contribute to the review of construction estimating data and support the development of project schedules Skills
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control and documentation accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and subcontractors
