Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining coverage, providing departmental insights on performance, and creating data models to solve complex quantitative tasks. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to meet departmental demands, drive business growth, and deliver data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain new and existing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business processes and data-driven decision-making Develop and implement robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility Manage and create new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse, ensuring seamless data flow and integration Collaborate with stakeholders, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs, maintain comprehensive documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architecture, leveraging best practices and industry-leading tools Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI, driving business insights and actionable recommendations Partner with IT and stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables, leveraging data mining techniques and industry expertise Analyze large datasets to identify relevant patterns, trends, and correlations, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders Validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, ensuring data quality and integrity Participate in the Data Governance program, updating the data dictionary, and developing policies and procedures to ensure data management best practices Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 2 years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis, with a strong background in data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization Proficiency in Power BI, with experience working with various reporting objects, such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Computed Columns, transformations, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, and interactions Strong knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code, with experience writing complex SQL queries to create reports and analytics Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies Problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and working with large datasets Familiarity with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query Experience with Smartsheets, or similar project management tools Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly valued: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively Knowledge of data governance principles, with experience developing and implementing data management policies and procedures Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, with experience working in an iterative and incremental development environment Strong understanding of business operations, with experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment Career Growth and Development At Joblora, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
