About The Role

This position is the primary contact for designated accounts within a specific territory, focusing on sales growth and profitability. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic business and marketing plans, aiming to enhance the company's market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales goals, ensuring profitable year-over-year growth for the assigned territory.
  • Utilize knowledge of the company, products, and competitive market to achieve business objectives.
  • Expand business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking.
  • Manage account complexities and communicate customer needs to internal stakeholders.
  • Lead key business negotiations with support from internal stakeholders.
  • Strengthen customer relationships to facilitate proactive conversations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercialization and onboarding processes.
  • Build an external network with industry influencers and collaborators.
  • Coordinate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for validation and customer trials.
  • Manage accounts receivable with assistance from the credit department.
  • Work with Strategic Marketing to address unmet customer needs.
  • Contribute to monthly management reporting on sales and marketing performance.
  • Drive forecast accuracy for improved business outcomes.
  • Manage Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a large-scale business-to-business environment.
  • 7 years relevant experience in technical, sales, and general management, preferably within the packaging industry.
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability.
  • Experience with negotiations and contract execution.

Work Environment

  • This is a remote position.
  • Ability to travel domestically/regionally 60% of the time.
