Role Overview: As the Sales Head for the Call Centre function in a banking environment, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the telesales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Your responsibilities will include owning the telesales profit and loss, driving customer acquisition, leading a team of sales agents, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and enhancing the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for various banking products including savings accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, and mutual funds - Lead a multi-tier team comprising Team Leaders, Quality Analysts, Floor Managers, and Sales Agents, setting performance expectations and fostering a high-performance sales culture - Develop deep product knowledge programs, sales scripts, and objection handling guides for effective telesales - Manage outbound dialler strategy, lead management, and compliance with regulatory guidelines - Partner with the Quality team to define call quality parameters, conduct regular call audits, and drive targeted coaching and training - Design and implement incentive structures, recognition programs, and ensure timely and accurate incentive payouts - Own and analyze sales MIS, present performance insights to senior leadership, and flag potential risks early Qualifications Required: - 10-16 years of experience in call center or telesales roles with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership position - Experience in banking or BFSI telesales, selling multiple banking products, and managing large sales teams - Deep understanding of banking product features, regulatory constraints, and compliance requirements - Strong leadership skills, data-driven decision-making abilities, and familiarity with banking CRM systems - Graduate in any discipline, MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance, Banking, or Business Administration preferred Company Details: The company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to drive the telesales function in the banking sector.
