Job Summary

Syscentric Technologies Private Limited is looking for a highly skilled PHP Backend Developer with strong experience in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. The role involves building scalable web applications, developing APIs, and working on enterprise-level solutions across multiple domains including government and private sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend systems using PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter
• Design and implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs
• Build and optimize database structures and queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Work on enterprise-grade applications, ERP systems, and custom software solutions
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS APIs, and email services
• Ensure application security, data protection, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX teams, and project managers
• Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing systems
• Conduct code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices
• Maintain technical documentation and API documentation

Technical Skills RequiredCore Technologies

• Strong proficiency in Core PHP
• Expertise in Laravel Framework (latest versions preferred)
• Good experience with CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4)
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture

Database & Performance

• Strong experience in MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
• Experience handling large datasets and high-load systems

API & Integrations

• REST API development and integration
• Experience with authentication systems (JWT, OAuth)
• Integration with Razorpay, PayU, Stripe or similar APIs

Tools & Environment

• Version control using Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• Experience with Postman / API testing tools
• Familiarity with Linux servers and deployment processes

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / DigitalOcean)
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Education Qualification
