LEAD SECURITY TECHNICIAN

ABOUT THE ROLE

SynergizeX Inc. is looking for a Lead Security Technician to take a senior technical role on active commercial security projects. This is a leadership position for an experienced technician who enjoys owning the technical side of the work, guiding field teams, and delivering clean, well executed systems.

You will be a trusted technical lead in the field, working closely with installation partners, internal project management, and client project teams to keep projects moving smoothly and to a high standard. The role blends leadership, problem solving, and hands on technical work, with a strong focus on quality and execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• *Lead technical execution in the field**

Provide technical leadership to installation partners and junior technicians

Translate drawings, risers, and device layouts into efficient field execution

Support teams with real time technical guidance and decision making

Coordinate daily field activity with the project management team

Maintain momentum while keeping quality high

• *Deliver clean head end installations**

Perform and oversee head end terminations and device landings

Ensure controllers, power supplies, and panels are organized, labeled, and installed correctly

Verify wiring integrity, power distribution, and grounding

Set the foundation for smooth programming, testing, and system integration

• *Support testing and commissioning**

Lead functional testing and verification of installed devices

Assist with commissioning activities and resolve field issues quickly

Ensure systems are ready for final verification and turnover

• *Stay hands on where it matters**

Perform targeted device work, wiring corrections, and adjustments as needed

Support critical path tasks during key project phases

Provide hands on technical support to keep projects on track

• *Maintain quality and visibility**

Verify workmanship, device placement, and installation accuracy

Document progress, updates, and issues in PlanRadar

Represent SynergizeX Inc. professionally on site

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 to 7 or more years of experience in commercial security systems
• Strong experience with access control, VMS CCTV, intrusion, and intercom
• Solid understanding of controllers, power supplies, and networked devices
• Comfort leading teams and working independently
• Clear communicator with strong troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally and occasionally out of region

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $68,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
