Position Overview
We are seeking certified teachers to support our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Teachers will provide specialized instruction to students, helping maintain academic progress and supporting individual learning needs in a structured summer environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver appropriate instructional lessons aligned with student IEP goals
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Collaborate with instructional assistants and personal care assistants
Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
Implement behavior support strategies as needed
Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications
Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification to teach special education students
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively
Commitment to supporting student growth and success
