Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for the oversight of in‑plane
fueling and tank farm management operations in YUL and YMX. Lead,
develop, and drive the overall strategic and business plan. Direct
the implementation of all corporate objectives, strategies, plans,
and industry standards. Make recommendations and drive business
decisions in the areas of operations, safety, quality control, GSE,
and commercial. To help set quality and safety standards and assist
station management with implementing programs and meeting or
exceeding those goals. Develop and maintain a close and effective
working relationship with all management to fully support their
operational efforts.
Description
Prepare consortium operating
budget to include any operational concerns / requirements for
approval by the Fuelchairpersonand its
members.
Review proper staffing levels to
ensure service levels are kept within the parameters of the budget
and the needs of the business.
Review all
equipment and personal injury accidents that take place at the fuel
facilities and develop corrective action, incorporating Company
policies.
Maintain a safe and efficient
operation to effect operational efficiency and
economy.
Ensures direct reports follow all
company, customer, industry, and Federal agency training and safety
requirements, including documentation through training
records.
Ensure implementation of appropriate
training programs, including preventative maintenance and safety,
for new hires and recurring training for experienced
employees.
Ensure appropriate response to
airport infractions and breaches of the Company’s operating
rules / procedures and take corrective action if
required.
Ensure that both the company and the
consortium's financial targets are met.
Liaise
regularly and ensure a good working relationship with the
consortium, all customers, the airport authority, and the
governmental agency.
Monitor inventory
controls and preventative maintenance
programs.
Review employee’s absenteeism and
initiate appropriate corrective action in accordance with the
Company’s attendance policy.
Support and
participate in HR initiatives and partner with the local
union.
Oversee and achieve employee, aircraft
incident / accident, on‑time performance, and financial performance
KPIs.
Your
profile
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a
fuel facility or similar background.
Detailed
in-depth knowledge regarding fuel, its care, and control is
required.
Tank farm and pipeline care and
maintenance experience strongly desired.
Solid
leadership skills.
Effective communication
skills.
Strong operational and people
management skills.
Experienced in a unionized
working environment.
Computer skills,
including Microsoft Office and T&A
systems.
Customer focus and quality
awareness.
Ability to deal with
conflicts.
Ability to meet and abide by
deadlines.
Technical knowledge of equipment
and systems.
Available for crisis management
response and to respond to the station as
required.
