Job Description
As the Manager - Business Finance at Swiggy, your main responsibility will be to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure effective cost management across business operations. Your role will require strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of operational metrics, and hands-on experience in cost optimization. - **Financial Planning & Analysis**
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for business units.
- Analyze financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and identify actionable insights.
- Provide financial models, dashboards, and profitability analyses to support business decisions.
- **Cost Management & Optimization**
- Conduct periodic cost reviews across operational functions.
- Identify cost leakages and implement initiatives for cost efficiency and margin improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Delivery, etc.) to track and optimize key cost drivers.
- **Business Performance Monitoring**
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to delivery operations, cost per order, productivity, utilization, and compliance.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly business review presentations for leadership.
- **Operational Finance Support**
- Work closely with operations leadership to understand ground-level processes and financial impact.
- Evaluate operational initiatives, new launches, and projects from a financial standpoint.
- Support contract negotiations, pricing, and vendor cost structures.
- **Reporting & Compliance**
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS, financial reports, and dashboards.
- Drive process improvements and enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Ensure financial governance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- *Must-Have:**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A;, or Operational Finance.
- Masters in business (Finance/Strategy) or CA preferred.
- Strong understanding of delivery/logistics/operations business models.
- Proven experience in cost analysis, cost optimization, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, dashboards, and analytical tools.
- Ability to work with large data sets and derive meaningful insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in high-growth or tech-enabled delivery businesses (e.g., logistics, e-commerce, hyperlocal, supply chain).
