1. About the Job
The Junior Analyst / Analyst – Policy Engagement will be responsible for supporting Hon’ble Members of Parliament (MPs) through high-quality qualitative and quantitative research on legislative, policy, and governance matters. In addition, the role will involve managing critical engagements, key operational aspects of the Hon’ble MP’s office, and support for select independent or personal initiatives led by the Hon’ble MPs, ensuring timely coordination, stakeholder follow-ups, and effective execution.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality, credible research and analysis on policy issues, legislative priorities, government schemes, and constituency-specific sectoral challenges to support the office of the Hon’ble MP.
- Provide policy insights, legislative briefs, talking points, issue notes, etc., in response to specific requests from the Hon’ble MP.
- Contribute to communication and public outreach initiatives, including drafting speeches, social media content, constituency messaging, and policy explainers to amplify the MP’s policy priorities.
- Provide administrative, coordination, and stakeholder management support to the office of the Hon’ble MP.
- Support special projects and independent initiatives led by the Hon’ble MP, including consultations, constituency campaigns, policy dialogues, and strategic partnerships.

3. Key Requirements
3.1. Education:
- Graduate or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Energy Studies, Climate Change, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Development Studies, Sustainability, or a related field
3.2. Experience:
- We welcome applications from candidates with up to 1–3 years of full-time professional experience. Exceptional fresh graduates from relevant fields such as public policy, governance, environmental studies, sustainability, and related domains will also be considered.
- The final designation of Junior Analyst or Analyst will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
3.3. Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of both English and Hindi.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate findings into high-quality written outputs.
- Proven ability to quickly synthesize complex information from multiple sources into coherent and insightful analysis.
- Ability to translate complex policy issues into clear, actionable insights for Hon’ble MPs and other key stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of the structure and functioning of Union and State Governments, including administrative systems, parliamentary hierarchies, and inter-governmental coordination mechanisms.
3.4. Mandatory Attributes:
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to addressing critical policy issues affecting public service delivery and governance in India.
- Proven professional reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong availability and commitment to delivering timely, high-quality support to public representatives on legislative and policy matters, including responsiveness to urgent requests.
- Demonstrated understanding of key policy challenges, including climate change, air pollution, social protection, governance, and sustainable development, is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.
3.5. Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in visual storytelling, including, but not limited to, Canva.
- Research methodology, including literature review and stakeholder interviews.
- Familiarity with government databases and public information sources.
4. Location:
This is a Delhi-based position with occasional travel.
5. Monthly Salary Range:
Jr Analyst: 35,000/-
Analyst; 50,000/-
