You’ll play a critical role in building high-performance, reliable, and scalable systems that power calling workflows, integrations, and data pipelines.
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and scale backend systems using Ruby on Rails
- Architect APIs and services for real-time calling workflows (dialing, call events, logging)
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and uptime for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
- Work on VoIP integrations, call routing, and telephony-related logic
- Lead backend development efforts, including code reviews and technical decisions
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
- Optimize database performance and handle high-volume data processing
- Implement best practices around security, monitoring, and system reliability
🧠 What We’re Looking For
- 2–4+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails (or similar backend frameworks)
- Experience building scalable SaaS products
- Understanding of real-time systems, queues, and event-driven architecture
- Experience with API design, microservices, and system architecture
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers

- Experience with VoIP / telephony / calling platforms
- Familiarity with WebRTC, SIP, or call infrastructure
- Exposure to high-concurrency systems
