The Role

We are looking for a creative powerhouse who understands that great drinks drive great business. As a Senior Beverage Innovation Specialist, you will bridge the gap between liquid R&D and commercial success. You will lead our innovation strategy in Bangalore while taking an active responsibility for sales by converting high-value accounts through expert mixology, menu engineering, and technical storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Innovation: Lead recipe development using Swa syrups across cocktails, mocktails, café beverages, and specialty drinks.
• Sales Ownership & Conversion: Take direct responsibility for identifying and converting prospective HoReCa leads into billing accounts through high-impact tastings and product demonstrations.
• Menu Engineering: Design and develop signature beverage programs and standardized manuals for partner cafés, restaurants, hotels, and bars.
• The "Technical Closer": Support the sales team during high-value client pitches, acting as the subject matter expert to handle objections and prove the commercial value of Swa.
• Upselling and Account Expansion: Conduct regular menu audits for existing clients to identify opportunities for upselling and increasing the number of Swa SKUs used on-site.
• Training & Masterclasses: Conduct advanced training for bartenders and baristas, ensuring they can both prepare and sell Swa-based drinks effectively to end consumers.
• Brand Activation: Lead product launches and beverage showcases at major industry events, exhibitions, and industry gatherings.
• Trendsetting: Monitor global beverage trends and flavor innovations to guide product usage and showcase to keep Swa at the forefront of the industry.

Principal Accountabilities

• Sales Impact & Conversion: Success rate of converting product demonstrations and pitches into active contracts and menu placements.
• Account Growth: Increase in the average number of Swa SKUs adopted per partner account (Portfolio Penetration).
• Client Engagement: Number of high-quality training sessions and masterclasses conducted for HoReCa partners.

Requirements

• Experience: 6–10 years as a Mixologist, Bartender, Beverage Consultant, or Development Specialist with a track record of commercial success.
• Sales Acumen: Ability to discuss margins, drink costing (COGS), and business ROI with F&B Managers and owners.
• Technical Expertise: Proven mastery of cocktail/mocktail creation, flavor pairing, and beverage techniques.
• HoReCa Knowledge: Deep experience working with bars, hotels, and cafés; an existing network in Bangalore is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and training skills.
• Attributes: A passion for experimentation, craftsmanship, and a results-oriented mindset.
