Position: Seasonal Pipelayer for Utilities

Become a pivotal part of the Utilities team as a Seasonal Pipelayer. Engage in the assembly and construction of pipe systems for water and sewer while working in physically demanding conditions.

This full-time role based in Fort McMurray involves assembling, connecting, and constructing pipes for storm or sanitation sewers. Reporting to the Foreman, you will prepare grounds and align pipes for optimal installation. Your responsibilities will include monitoring backfill support and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and connect pipe systems for water and sewer
• Prep grounds and dig trenches for pipe installation
• Align and position pipes for welding and sealing
• Monitor backfill for proper bedding support
• Support lot servicing and other assigned duties

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle for transportation
• CSA approved steel toed boots required
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing
• Completion of company orientation necessary
• Ability to work flexible hours in demanding conditions
