Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

You will be responsible for manual testing of our own software products, including executing exploratory and black box testing of applications, performing thorough regression testing, developing and executing test scenarios, estimating and prioritizing testing tasks, troubleshooting issues, and reporting issues while updating statuses in the reporting tool.

Qualifications Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• At least 5+ years of professional experience in manual software testing
• Experience in web testing
• Proficiency in manipulating and understanding Json/XML files
• Strong technical skills in network communication
• Ability to think deductively and critically with an understanding from an end-user perspective
• Experience in analyzing requirements and creating test cases
• Familiarity with bug reporting tools, JIRA preferred
• Experience with Third Party tools for troubleshooting and testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of accessibility testing is desirable but not essential
• ISTQB certification or similar is desirable but not essential

You may supervise staff as necessary to complete assignments, review and provide critical input to project scope, budgets, and schedules assignments. You will also prepare proposals for professional services and seek funding for engineering projects/programs.
