Remote Paralegals, legal clerks, legal secretaries, attorneys - AI Trainer
SuperAnnotateJob Description
Are you ready to bring your legal expertise into the world of AI? We are looking for legal professionals (paralegals, legal clerks, legal secretaries, attorneys or equivalent) to support high-quality AI training and evaluation work involving legal documents, procedural workflows, and administrative records. This role combines the opportunity to work with modern AI systems with the responsibility of ensuring precision, consistency, and careful documentation—making it a strong fit for people who are patient, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
Candidates who have worked in government or institutional settings may be especially well-suited, as this work often reflects manual, form-based, and paper-heavy administrative systems (filings, registers, case notes, standardized templates, approvals, and recordkeeping).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop AI Training Content (Legal): Create clear prompts and high-quality reference responses based on real legal documents and workflows (contracts, policies, filings, procedural steps), including examples derived from scanned or form-based records.
- Evaluate & Rank AI Responses: Review, compare, and score AI outputs for legal accuracy, completeness, clarity, and guideline compliance; provide concise written rationales.
- Precise Legal Data Annotation (Manual → Digital): Extract and enter information from paper-based / scanned legal records (forms, registers, case notes, templates) into structured digital formats, flagging ambiguity, inconsistencies, and missing elements.
Your Profile:
- Academic / professional background: Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related fields.
- Legal experience: Hands-on experience with legal documentation and workflows (e.g., drafting, reviewing, filing, summarizing, organizing records, matter management).
- Institutional / government exposure (preferred): Familiarity with structured, paper-heavy legal environments (courts, municipalities, ministries, agencies, universities, hospitals, NGOs).
- Document precision: You notice small inconsistencies in dates, parties, defined terms, citations, numbering, and cross-references—and can explain the impact clearly.
- English proficiency: minimum B2 English for understanding guidelines, drafting rationales, and async collaboration.
- Analytical & detail-oriented: Comfortable applying detailed rubrics, spotting edge cases, and keeping decisions consistent across large volumes of work.
- Tools comfort: Strong comfort with Word/Google Docs and PDFs; experience with redlining/track changes is a plus.
