The Software

Developer will build and support software products used by the Department of Transportation and the public at large to help ensure the safety of drivers and passengers on public roadways. Receive tasks and requirements details from Technical Lead. Follow agile sprint-based development schedule. Unit test modules prior to handing them off to the Test Team. Assist the Test Team with load/performance/throughput testing where required. Document design decisions and technical details. Maintain source code version control in Azure DevOps/GitHub. Implement, document, and maintain robust software solutions that will be in service over multiple years. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field. ~3-8 years of work experience in software development or related field. ~2+ years of writing objectoriented code in C#, C++, or Java. ~NET Core web applications or APIs. ~1+ years of experience building full-stack web applications using ASP.NET MVC (server-side), Angular (front-end), and Bootstrap (UI framework). ~2+ years of designing objects in relational databases (tables, views, stored procedures, indexes). ~2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). ~2+ years of creating rich web application user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience with development in Azure Cloud using Azure Data Lake Services, Data Factory, Synapse analytics, SQL Managed Instance etc.

Experience with Google Workspace and Gemini. Familiarity with desktop UI frameworks like Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) preferred. Familiarity with JSON, XML and XSLT.
