### The opportunity

This role is for a passionate, high-energy designer who can transform complex warehouse and transportation operations into intuitive, efficient experiences. You will own design for our supply chain systems - the WMS, TMS, and operational tools that power millions of orders flowing through our network daily. You will be part of a growing 5-person design team and partner closely with product and engineering.

You will:

• Design intuitive experiences used by thousands of operators daily, including workflows for receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Create interfaces that work across handheld scanners, desktop workstations, and tablets on forklifts, optimizing for speed and accuracy in time-sensitive, high-volume environments.
• Conduct user research with warehouse operators, drivers, and supply chain coordinators to deeply understand workflows and translate that complexity into compelling design narratives that connect user pain points to business impact.
• Leverage AI design tools to rapidly prototype and iterate, and create high-fidelity prototypes that validate concepts before engineering investment.
• Partner with product managers to shape roadmaps, work closely with engineers to ensure technical feasibility, and contribute to the growing design system for platform-wide consistency.

You will be expected to measure success by operational efficiency and user satisfaction, conduct usability testing in warehouse environments, and iterate based on real-world feedback.

### What we need from you

• 5+ years of product design experience with at least 2 years designing complex B2B or operational software. This includes fluency in designing for professional users in workflow-heavy environments and experience with multi-step workflows, exception handling, and data-heavy interfaces.
• Proven user research skills: field research, usability testing, and translating insights into product decisions.
• Modern design tooling expertise: advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and component libraries.

Skills that set you apart include strong storytelling ability, technical collaboration (you speak engineering's language), an operational mindset (logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain), high-fidelity execution, and enthusiasm for AI-powered design tools.

We look for high energy and vision, a bias for action, empathy for the people using our systems (for example, warehouse workers scanning 300 items per hour), a collaborative spirit, and resourcefulness in conducting user research even with limited access to users.

While this role is flexible, we have a strong preference for candidates based on the East Coast. Travel will be required to support in-person collaboration with product and engineering teams and hands-on user research within warehouse and operational environments.
