Our HCA Healthcare Residency Program is a comprehensive, year-long initiative designed to equip new graduates with essential clinical experience and critical thinking skills. As a new RN resident, you'll be part of a supportive community of educators and experienced nurses dedicated to helping you transition from student to practicing nurse.

As an RN Resident, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll collaborate with medical staff to deliver individualized, compassionate care in line with established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You’ll also advocate for patients and their families, ensuring they have an exceptional care experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures and administer medications as directed, documenting actions clearly in patient records.
• Monitor patients for therapeutic responses and address any unexpected reactions appropriately.
• Provide outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests and anticipating their needs.
• Educate patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, making sure they fully understand.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of employment.
• Certification requirements may vary during employment.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status in the state.
• No prior experience required.
• Willingness to travel for training may be necessary.

This position is available for both day and night shifts, which will be discussed during your initial interview. Flexible start dates are also available.
