Job Title: Microsoft 365 Administrator
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Enterprise End-User Services
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 45 hours a week
General Job Summary:
Partner with key stake holders across the bank and play a key role in developing and implementing the bank’s M365 strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the M365 solution, a strategic mindset and be able to identify operational efficiencies and maintain the highest level of security for the bank.
Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing user and device accounts, including AD synchronization, license assignment, and permissions within Microsoft 365 services
- Support endpoint management activities using Intune, including application deployment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and updates
- Assist with implementing and monitoring security controls and access policies, and support Information Security with audits, reviews, and remediation efforts
- Support administration of Exchange Online, including mailbox setup, distribution groups, and troubleshooting basic email-related issues
- Assist with managing SharePoint sites and document libraries, including permissions and basic workflows
- Support Microsoft Teams administration, including channels, settings, and policies.
- Assist with OneDrive administration, including storage quotas, file sharing policies, and sync troubleshooting
- Help configure and maintain Microsoft 365 application settings under the guidance of senior administrators
- Work closely with the Systems Administration team to help ensure data is backed up and recoverable
- Support compliance with audit and regulatory requirements by following established policies and procedures
- Review reports and dashboards to help identify potential issues and escalate concerns as appropriate
- Provide Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365–related issues and assist with troubleshooting user-reported problems
- Communicate effectively with users and IT team members, documenting issues and resolutions clearly
- Participate in after-hours or weekend work when required to support maintenance or deployments
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Attend meetings as needed
Working Conditions: Works in office. Minimal travel to bank locations required.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant IT experience supporting Microsoft 365 services and on premises Active Directory environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
