As a Senior Lead Developer at our company, your main role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to support business units. You are expected to dedicate 100% of your time to hands-on development, design, and architecture, particularly focusing on Java, Oracle, and Microservices for trading application development. Your expertise in Capital Markets Projects is preferred for this role.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide advanced technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications within project schedules.
- Oversee systems design and implementation of the most complex design components.
- Create project plans, deliverables, and monitor task deadlines.
- Maintain and support existing software applications.
- Review, analyze, and resolve complex issues with subject matter expertise.
- Design and execute end-to-end system tests of new installations and software to minimize failures and impact.
- Resolve, communicate, and escalate critical technical issues.
- Prepare necessary user and systems documentation.
- Recommend and implement industry best practices.
- Mentor junior staff and act as a technical lead/mentor for developers.
- Lead a team of agile developers effectively.
- Work on deadline-driven projects with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers, and managers efficiently.
- Provide agile status updates on day-to-day project tasks.

- Experienced and highly skilled in Core Java, Tomcat or another J2EE application server, Oracle, GIT, JUnit, Jenkins, MQ, Kafka, AWS, and other open-source technologies.
- Strong practical experience in Scrum, Agile modeling, and adaptive software development.
- Proficiency in continuous integration, build processes, test automation, and deployment.
- Ability to understand and visualize the big picture of system components.
- Experience in building environment, architecture, design guides, and application blueprints.
