White Marsh Family Dentistry is growing and now hiring a Full Time Dental Hygienist!
As a Full Time Dental Hygienist, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals at our practice with great hours!
This practice offers 1 hour prophy appointments alongside working with a great team of Doctors and staff!
Eligible for Sign on Bonus Consideration
Full Time Dental Hygienist Schedule:
Monday 8:30AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday 8:30AM to 7:00 PM
1 hour break each day for lunch

Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Support the dentist with procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Hygienist license required
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred, new grads are welcome!
- Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
- Experience with dental practice software
- Team Player - strong collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
