Site Investigation Environmental Scientist

Lead site investigations as an Environmental Scientist/Technician in a team-oriented role. Engage in field projects throughout Northwest Territories, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan while promoting safety and quality.

This position focuses on executing site investigation and remediation projects, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. You will mentor junior staff and manage key field activities, from soil and groundwater monitoring to remedial excavations, all within a supportive, experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a culture of safety on all projects
• Coordinate fieldwork with subcontractors and staff
• Oversee site visits and sampling tasks
• Write technical reports and perform data analysis
• Mentor junior staff in field operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Eligible for professional designation (asset)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to remote field locations
