Job Description
You will be responsible for improving the anthropometric nutritional status of children aged 0.6-3 years in a district of Himachal Pradesh through testing an appropriate THR that meets all guidelines and nutrient requirements. This includes large-scale implementation in 2 districts and capacity building for appropriate technologies within the ICDS system.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Clean, preprocess, and transform structured and unstructured datasets for analysis and modeling.
- Apply statistical techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing, and time-series and longitudinal data analysis.
- Build and optimize predictive and classification models using machine learning algorithms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality and best practices.
- Assist in writing and maintaining Python backend code for integrating models into Mobile/Web applications.
- Maintain clear documentation for data workflows, models, experiments, and performance metrics.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- MSc Statistics or MSc Data Science.
