Job Description – Horticulturist / Garden Supervisor
Position: Horticulturist
Location: Mylapore, Chennai
Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month
Experience: 5 to 12 Years
Age: Above 32 Years
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Horticulture
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Horticulturist / Garden Supervisor to manage and maintain landscape and garden activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge in plant care, landscaping, irrigation systems, garden maintenance, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain lawns, plants, trees, and landscaped areas
- Supervise gardeners and daily garden maintenance activities
- Monitor irrigation and watering schedules
- Identify plant diseases and take preventive actions
- Plan seasonal plantation and landscaping work
- Ensure cleanliness and beautification of garden areas
- Coordinate with vendors for plants, fertilizers, and garden materials
- Maintain garden tools and equipment properly
Requirements
- 5–12 years of experience as Horticulturist or Garden Supervisor
- Good knowledge of horticulture and landscaping
- Experience in maintaining large gardens or commercial properties
- Leadership and team handling skills
