We are seeking a results-driven Android Developer to join our dynamic product development team. You will play a key role in building, troubleshooting, and improving mobile applications for EYVA and our upcoming advanced wellness products. This role requires strong expertise in Android development, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality apps that delight users worldwide.

What Youll Be Doing

• Develop and enhance Android mobile applications for EYVA and new products.
• Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to align app design and development with product strategy and roadmap.
• Design responsive layouts and applications compatible with multiple screen resolutions and Android versions.
• Implement and work with Android architectural components like ComposeUI, LiveData, ViewModel, and DataBinding.
• Integrate real-time engagement tools/SDKs such as Amazon Chime, Agora (good to have).
• Take complete ownership of assigned modules, ensuring smooth execution and highquality deliverables.
• Work with engineers, managers, and product owners to manage and deliver on prioritized backlogs, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability.
• Improve code quality, architecture, and processes through continuous improvement practices.
• Optimize and debug Android applications for performance across multiple devices and OS versions.
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Mentor junior developers, guiding technical and professional growth. Who Were Looking For
• Education: B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• Experience: 4–5 years as an Android Developer with product-based companies (D2C/consumer electronics preferred)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Android application development with Compose UI.
• Strong expertise in Android Kotlin, Compose UI, Android Studio, Java, Git.
• Expertise in UI/UX design principles, Material Design guidelines, and responsive layouts.
• Strong grasp of Android app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.).
• Skilled in Android Compose UI technologies, frameworks, and architecture.
• Deep understanding of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and serial communication protocols for sensor integrations.
• Ability to collaborate with backend teams on REST API design and requirements.
• Experience with testing strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile environments.
• Proven track record of shipping mobile apps to the Google Play Store.
• Exposure to IoT, AI, sensors, and product development preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, design, and architecture teams to solve end-to-end system challenges.
• Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Hands-on experience with SQLite / Room Database for local data storage.
• Familiarity with Google Play Console and publishing process.
• Good to have: knowledge of iOS or cross-platform mobile development.
