<p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The Affiliate Associate, with a focus on social media, is responsible for reviewing and monitoring SportyBet’s network of influencers, creators, and affiliates - while also growing and maintaining SportyBet’s social community across multiple platforms. Hybrid position located in our Century City, Cape Town offices.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build, manage, and maintain strong interactions with influencers, creators, tipsters, and affiliate partners through a social online community</li> <li>Identify and reach out to new affiliates and creators through social media platforms and digital communities</li> <li>Develop, maintain, and strengthen SportyBet’s online affiliate and social community presence by fostering authentic, consistent engagement and representing the brand positively across all relevant channels and platforms</li> <li>Manage influencer/creator pages, monitor their online activity and performance, and provide ongoing feedback and support to maximise results</li> <li>Track and analyze social media trends, community sentiment, and affiliate performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement</li> <li>Support and strengthen SportyBet’s relationships within the wider online sports community, ensuring consistent tone, professionalism, and authenticity in every interaction</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of major social media platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, etc.) and international online community culture</li> <li>Solid grasp of social media trends, sports culture, and sports betting fundamentals (markets, odds, fan engagement)</li> <li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills</li> <li>Passion for sports, digital engagement, and community development</li> <li>Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong copywriting and content creation abilities</li> <li>Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail</li> <li>Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and channels simultaneously</li> <li>Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams</li> </ul> <p><strong>Even better if</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in the sports betting, sports media, or gaming industry.</li> <li>Experience working with influencers, creators, or affiliate programs.</li> <li>Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio).</li> <li>Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative tools, etc.).</li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s in it for you</strong></p> <ul> <li>A competitive salary + individual performance based bonuses every quarter</li> <li>20 days annual leave + public holidays</li> <li>Our core working hours are 10am-3pm in your local time zone with flexibility outside of this</li> <li>South African employment contract</li> <li>Referral bonuses &amp; flash bonuses</li> <li>Top of the line equipment</li> <li>Annual company retreats to provide great internal networking opportunities</li> </ul> <p>If you're interested, we encourage you to apply!
