Whether you're passionate about global affairs, nonprofit operations, or organizational development, this internship provides hands-on experience at the intersection of US national security, private philanthropy, global impact and nonprofit innovation.
Location: Arlington, VA
Duration: (flexible start and end dates)
Schedule: Part-time or full-time (minimum 20 hours/week) with flexible lengths.
Compensation:$20.00 per hour
Eligibility: Undergraduate juniors/seniors or graduate students. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
What You’ll Gain:

- Mentorship & Exposure: Engage in one-on-one mentorship sessions, all-staff meetings, and intern-specific professional development opportunities.
- Mission-Driven Culture: Understand how a nonprofit organization partners with the US military and local communities to save lives, strengthen alliances, and advance American values.
- Networking Opportunities: Expand your network through staff lunches, leadership round tables, and optional social events.
Areas of Focus
Internships are available in the following departments:
- Programs: Support global project implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and donor impact reporting
- Marketing: Support brand strategy, content creation, social media campaigns, and digital engagement initiatives
- Development: Assist with donor research, proposal writing, fundraising communications, and impact storytelling
- Finance: Assist with budgeting, compliance tracking, and financial systems support
- Human Resources: Contribute to talent acquisition, onboarding, and internal communication
- Information Technology: Help maintain systems infrastructure and explore tech solutions for global operations
- Communications: Draft content, analyze engagement metrics, and help share our story
