Clinician Opportunity | South Shore Mental Health Counseling Services, P.C.

South Shore Mental Health Counseling Services (SSMHCS) is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Limited Permit–eligible clinician to join our growing, specialty outpatient practice. We are a first responder–friendly practice and are seeking clinicians who are comfortable working with law enforcement professionals, first responders, and veterans, or are open to developing competency in this area.

This is a W-2, fee-for-service hybrid position with both in-person sessions in Amityville and virtual care across New York. EHR and clinical supervision are provided.

We are a collaborative group practice focused on treating adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Our work is grounded in thoughtful, evidence-based care and strong therapeutic relationships within a supportive, professional environment.

Position details:

• Starting at $45 per completed session (including eligible no-shows)
• Hybrid schedule (in-person + telehealth)

For Limited Permit holders, this role supports completion of New York State requirements (3,000 total hours). Clinicians who reach 2,000 direct hours will be eligible to apply for diagnostic privilege.
