Job Title: Linux Administrator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to manage and maintain Linux-based servers and virtualized environments. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the security and performance of Linux systems along with VMware infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.).
- Manage and support VMware virtualization environments (ESXi, vCenter).
- Create, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs).
- Monitor system performance and ensure server uptime and reliability.
- Perform system updates, patching, and security hardening.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot Linux server, virtualization, and network-related issues.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash/Shell scripting.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams for system deployment and maintenance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and server administration.
- Hands-on experience with VMware (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter).
- Experience with server virtualization and VM management.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, FTP).
- Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Basic knowledge of storage management and backup solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field.
- Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, VMware VCP are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization tools.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
