Emergency Department Travel Nurse Nova Scotia

Contribute your expertise as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse with Nova Scotia Health Authority. This travel nurse contract involves high-acuity patient care across beautiful Nova Scotia.

We are seeking a skilled registered nurse with a minimum of two years in emergency care to manage trauma and medical emergencies. You will work in dynamic environments, provide clinical leadership, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Experience with triage and emergency protocols are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned high-acuity patients
• Lead clinical actions in unpredictable care settings
• Collaborate with teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Administer IV medications as per hospital protocols
• Conduct rapid CTAS assessments for triage

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support — Level C certification
• Competence in IV initiation and venipuncture
• Legal right to work in Canada
