Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for a full-time hybrid role based in Owen Sound, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include overseeing financial statement preparation, managing journal entries, and maintaining records for fixed assets. The role also entails conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and standards. Collaboration with team members and clients will be integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Financial Statements and Journal Entries
• Expertise in Fixed Assets and related accounting practices
• Excellent Analytical Skills and a deep understanding of Finance
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation or progress towards CPA certification is an asset
• Professional experience in a similar role is highly preferred
