React Developer

In SOTEC Consulting (Astek group ) we are looking for an experienced Front-End React Native Developer to join a Business Banking product team delivering high-quality mobile applications.

You will contribute to feature development, platform integration, and engineering excellence within an Agile environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Location requirement: Candidates must be based in Spain, Poland, United Kingdom, or Portugal only.

Working hours: UK business hours (approx. 9–5 UK time).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features for a Business Banking mobile application using React Native.
• Integrate the application with third-party native mobile libraries .
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring junior developers .
• Collaborate within Agile teams and actively contribute to ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of mobile front-end solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end/mobile development.
• Strong commercial experience with React Native , including apps released in Apple App Store and Google Play Store .
• Advanced expertise in TypeScript .
• Solid experience working in Agile software development environments (Scrum/Kanban, pair programming practices).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills . (C1 level)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Native mobile development experience (Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift ) and building bridging modules.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines , particularly GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and frameworks, including TDD/BDD .
